Celeste has worked in various settings including hospitals, schools, sporting organisations within metropolitan and regional areas. Celeste specialises in working with children, adolescents and young adults. Some of her focus areas include those who may experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, stress, relationship issues and other conditions and disorders.
Celeste applies an empathetic and warm approach to therapy and has a genuine interest in understanding each client’s situations and needs. She aims to equip clients with individualised tools needed to help improve their quality of life.
Celeste utilises a mixture of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFBT). In addition to her clinical experience, she has published research relating to social cognitive deficits, empathy, and theory of mind. Celeste is also a trained facilitator for Tackle Your Feelings and Ahead of the Game for the Australian Football League. She is also a trained facilitator for Tuning into Teens, a parenting program.
